Who Is SCP Lab?

SCP Lab is a biotechnology company devoted to nationally expanding access to precision diagnostics that improve accuracy, treatment selection, turnaround time, utilization, and ultimately - clinical outcomes. Although a relatively new company, the Executive Team consists of experienced and savvy healthcare entrepreneurs with over 150 years in the healthcare industry. 

SCP Lab is building an optimized national network of processing centers to ensure patients/providers have access to superior testing, particularly the esoteric diagnostics that are not offered through the giant reference labs. To accomplish that goal, SCP has established a test menu that serves the needs of its clinical partners including a blend of traditional tests and proprietary molecular/NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) tests covering hematology, chemistry, cancer, and infectious disease diagnostics. 

Our laboratories currently include SunCoast Lab in Melbourne, Florida and Regional Pathologists Lab in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.  Both are full-service pathology labs.  SCP is actively building Southern, Midwestern, and Northeastern hubs as means of expanding access. SCP is implementing home-health tools using digital markets and telemedicine to help drive access to necessary clinical testing. Key to this strategy is continued improvement through research and innovation programs, education for patients/providers/regulators, and a responsibility to be good financial stewards for the US healthcare system
